2019 Season Sponsorship Opportunities

This summer, the Class Act Players are excited to announce our two latest productions: Air Mail / Par Avion, an original devised musical, and (I Hate) Modern Art, an evening of one act plays written by Alex Bulova and Sarah Marksteiner. Air Mail / Par Avion will receive seven performances at the Riverside Baptist Church July 12th through 28th as part of the 2019 Capital Fringe Festival. (I Hate) Modern Art will run August 1st, 3rd, 4th, 8th, 9th, and 10th at the Workhouse Arts Center in Lorton, VA.

2019 Summer Season!

We are pleased to announce our 2019 summer season!

In July, we return to the Capital Fringe Festival for the world premiere production of our fourth original musical, Air Mail/Par Avion, written and devised by Chris Mayhew! A workshop production of the show will premiere at the Mildred Dunnock Theatre at Goucher College, March 8 – 10. Tickets may be purchased at Fringe venue and performance dates will be announced soon.

Later in the month, we will present a one act festival at the Workhouse Arts Center, featuring original plays by Alex Bulova and Sarah Marksteiner. Performances are planned for July 26 – 28 and August 2 – 4.

Finally, we are thrilled to announce our inaugural summer program, “SHX,” a month-long educational theatre program that culminates in a production of William Shakespeare’s The Tempest. More information can be found here:

We are thrilled to be launching our most ambitious season yet. We hope to see you there!

Same Team, New Look

The Class Act Players are gearing up for another exciting season of work, now sporting a new look as an LLC. We are preparing our most ambitious season yet for the summer of 2019.

We are thrilled to be returning to the Lorton Workhouse, now for a third year, with a festival of original one-acts. The lineup includes pieces by company members Alex Bulova and Sarah Marksteiner (the creators of SuperNOVA), as well a new piece by playwright [TBA].

“I’m excited to dive into this summer’s play festival. Being able to showcase the voices of different writers in one night of theatre, and seeing how their pieces play off of one another’s will be a first for us.” — Kyle Ronyecs, Producer
